Empowering women to be a key partner in achieving sustainable development within a nation that guarantees them their full constitutional rights, while qualifying them to deal efficiently with challenges and enhance their role in all fields. The nation guarantees the provision of comprehensive protection and guarantees economic, social and political opportunities on an equal basis, enabling it to develop its capabilities and contribute to the elevation of the nation.

Developing women's skills and knowledge and empowering them to become effective leaders who contribute to decision-making and strategically influence its formulation and activation, in order to meet the requirements of the country in the present and future.

  1. Increase the representation of women leaders in the Ministry of Higher Education by highlighting women's competencies and achievements.
  2. Enhancing women's scientific capabilities in higher education by facilitating their participation in local and international conferences.
  3. Supporting women's participation in economic development through entrepreneurial projects and innovative technology incubators.
  4. Seek the support of the international community and local and global organizations to implement UN resolutions related to women.
  5. Raising social awareness of the status and rights of women and combating violence through specialized training courses and research.
  6. Improving the media image of women in the visual, audio, and reading media.
  7. Honoring outstanding Iraqi women through creative awards or producing documentaries highlighting their achievements.
  8. Supporting young women researchers who are presenting distinguished research at the beginning of their scientific career at the doctoral level through specialized committees to evaluate and support their work.
  9. Integrate the concept of gender into the plans and programs of the Ministry of Higher Education effectively and sustainably.
