The department seeks to promote students' knowledge of the characteristics of the English language to qualify them to serve the community and encourage them to develop their abilities and abilities to improve the educational reality of this subject, as it has become one of the requirements of the globalization era.

Preparing qualified university teachers in the field of specialization and providing them with the principles of knowledge, scientific and logical thinking, scientific research skills in the humanities and linguistic sciences, and the skills necessary for future communication with the community in their specialization.

1. Preparing a specialized university teacher with a balanced personality who is aware of his national status and his educational and professional function, armed with general culture, specialized knowledge, correct behavior, and morality of the educational profession, and preparing him to keep pace with contemporary life in light of modern data, and providing him with skills that qualify him to perform his assigned tasks in educational and educational schools to provide students with the skills of learning the English language in a proper educational manner.

2. Preparing competent university teachers who possess the necessary educational skills to teach the English language.

3. Developing the scientific attitudes of students in order to enable them to develop their own abilities in their future studies.

4. Providing students with how to innovate and develop educational aids to be used in teaching the English language.

5. One of the goals that the Department of English seeks is to prepare a generation of competent teachers who are able to play their role in educational institutions, out of our belief in the role of the teacher, and that it is in the good of our promising generations, and without a doubt, the English language is the language of the most important knowledge that is indispensable for the learner, so the department seeks to have our students to possess linguistic and literary knowledge that shapes their scientific and educational personalities.
